First of all, thanks for pushing out 1.5 in such a short time frame. But unfortunately I've been unable to update to 1.5 from 1.4 in the App Store. The update from 1.3 to 1.4 went flawlessly, but whenever I try to click update for pythonista now, the waiting wheel just goes around once and disappears. No pop up asking for confirmation, no pop up asking for account details. I'm using ios 7.1.1, not sure why this is happening. Any ideas?
The update process is managed entirely by the App Store, so there's not much I can do. It might help to restart your device (hold power + home for about 10 seconds).
You could also try signing out and back in (Settings app, "iTunes & App Store").
@Sandglass are you on an iPad or iPhone? Does your phone have the touchID enabled for app purchases? If you do and your finger was on the home button it shouldn't ask for confirmation.
Do you synch with a computer? Have you tried updating through that instead of on the phone?
I was using an iPod touch 5th gen (32 bit A5), all the other apps seem to update fine. Since this really isn't controlled by omz I guess I'll just stick with 1.4 for now, maybe after a few weeks the app store might decide to update this app for me.
If all else fails, try making a device backup, delete the app and attempt to redownload it. If for whatever reason it won't download again, you can just restore from the backup.
A couple of days ago I tried and several times got a message that I couldn't install the the new Pythonista. I tried again later and eventually it worked.
Once I had a similar problem with another app and I had to delete the old app first. If you do this, back up your on-ipad files first.
Remember to back up those scripts somewhere where you can get at them before deleting the app. Use something like Dropbox Sync.

I've given up... Screw App Store, I've even tried restoring and downgrading other apps, updating pythonista does not work for me...
