I think that is only if you modify the icon of an existing app.

I think all shortcut actions goes through the new compact UI.
And if your shortcut has no User Input / Output there should be only one message that the shortcut is running.

Tested on last ios 15.1.
You can make home shortcut via pythonista old way (without shorcuts app)
1)Set default browser firefox focus
2)Than use original way to do home-shortcut from Pythonsta
3)copy link from forefox and open it safari.
I noticed that sometimes you need to close all apps before you try.
No reboot needed.
