I'm considering picking up the Pythonista app so that I can learn python while I'm on the move. Does anyone know if the app supports iOS multitasking? I'd like to have both Pythonista and my Python book at the same time.

Pythonista supports split-screen multi-tasking on most iPads (if it’s not a very old one), and of course only if whatever app you’re using to read the book also supports it. Having multiple Pythonista “windows” is currently not supported, but you wouldn’t need that to put an eBook next to Pythonista.

Yes for newer iPads, it also has offline python documentation, its no book but its in app!
Really I didn't know this functionality.
Your iPad may not be as capable as a full-blown computer, but it's no slouch either. Just as you can juggle multiple programs on your PC, you can do the same with apps on your iPad.
