I haven’t been here in a long while, just checking and finding out Pythonista3 is pretty much done.
Question 1:
The new app Pyto - Can we develop games on it like we were able to on Pythonista3?
Can we run these games we code graphically for testing/prototyping etc.
Question 2:
Is there a section in this forum dedicated to game coding hobbyists or devs for the new app pyto.

Pyto is a different app by a different developer, and could be considered a competitor to pythonista ... So this isn't really the place for pyto help. That said, my understanding of the current state of pyto is that it is more for folks wanting frequent "updates", pandas support. Native wrappers equivalent to pythonistas scene or UI module don't exist, though I think it has support for some cross platform modules (kivy?). Technically you could do game development via objc/Rubicon, but I don't think it would be pleasant.
Not sure if pyto has a forums, I think they sort of use the GitHub issues page as a discussion forum. You should ask over there -- maybe they have a Reddit channel.

Pyto is fairly new and you must maintain your own modules. a huge advantage Pythonista has over these competitors in this aspect alone is the scene Module. i have looked and for ipad, iphone theres nothing comparable. second. is community. newer software means newer community. and in my near 20 years experience thats almost never a good thing. not only is the software on pythonista solid and outstanding community you also get the developer. thats is never seen. so in my opinion.. yes im sure you can do wonders with an app like pyto.. but logically you need to ask yourself.. is it worth the hastle of rebuilding whats already in front of me and walking into said environment?
