Editorial crashing on iPad 13.2

davekonopka

Editorial was working on iPadOS 13.1 After installing the 13.2 update though the app crashes immediately after opening it. Anyone else running into this?

lacsmith

Yes, and I just entered a feedback to Apple. Beat 13.2 for me, both 2018 IPAD pro and Iphone X.

Did not work:
reboot
Delete and reinstall Editorial
Updated Dropbox connection (dropbox said it needed update)
Reboot after dropbox change

Thanks for confirming. I submitted feedback to Apple as well.

Confirmed. I tried deleting and reinstalling, but it still crashes on launch.

This is a great loss for me. I used Editorial constantly, and the alternatives are horribly inadequate.

Unfortunately, the App Store listing shows no revisions in a couple of years, so I'm discouraged.

This happened to me also.
I deleted the ipadOs13 beta profile & rolled back to 13.1 to get editorial working again.

Thanks for this information. Hoping the quick download of rom file on ipad 13.2. I am going to download the rom file after reading this gamulator review guide.

Has anyone tried updating to iPadOS 13.2.2 and seeing if Editorial runs?

Update: I tried the upgrade and Editorial works on both iOS 13.2.2 and iPadOS 13.2.2. I hope this helps.

That's good news! Thank you for testing on 13.2.2. I've been hesitating about updating to iOS 13 fearing issues with both Editorial and Pythonista.

Cheers!

It seems like Wishdia treats my iPhone 6S as an iPad and tries to present an iPad popover when trying to add a tweak to Wishdia. I am not sure if any of the installed tweaks is causing this issue. Please let me know if someone is able to get Wishdia working on iOS 13 https://snaptube.cam/ , https://syncnet.onl/telegram-web/

This update features new ways to work with multiple apps, presents more information at a glance on a redesigned Home screen, makes using Apple Pencil feel even more responsive along with a new way to instantly mark up anything McDVOICE

iPad crashing occurs sometimes. There may be something wrong in internal system. In that case, you can try some following traditional ways.
1.         Clear Storage Memory
2.         Force reboot the iPad
3.         Force quit the problem app and re-launch it
4.         Update the App
5.         Update iOS to the Latest Version
6.         Clear all background apps on iPad
7.         Update iPad software
8.         Reset all settings
9.         Delete bad apps and re-Install
Tap Settings > General > Touch iPad Storage > Select the malfunctioned app that you want to delete > Tap the option to Delete App
10.     Restore iPad via iTunes (data loss)

If you have tried the first 9 solutions and iPad keeps crashing, you can try the tenth way. But you should think twice. It will cause data loss. If you wonder to repair the crashing error without data loss, you can use professional repair tool for iOS system recovery –  Tuneskit iOS System Recover. It is easy to use. You can fix iPad crashing without hassle.

To fix your problem, you are suggested to use professional iOS system recovery software. There are several good-commented ones such as TunesKit iOS System Recovery, wondershare, etc. You can give it a shot to get out of trouble.

Have you tried to hard restart the iPhone? Sometimes it is workable if you reset your settings on your iPhone. And you can also try to use some ios repair tools like TunesKit iOS System Recovery, Joyoshare,... or some others. Good luck!
