Opening project folders in Pythonista

DKatz

Is it possible to open a project folder, for example just something simple with a couple .py files along with some .txt .csv and .xml.

I have the project in git and on my iPad in Working Copy. I can open the individual files from Working Copy in Pythonista, but is there a way to open a full project?

@DKatz I don't know Working Copy but if its Files can be stored in iCloud Drive, you could, in Split View, drag and drop a folder to Pythonista tree.

You have to open and select the workingcopy folder in pythonista. It is definitely possible.

@DKatz In the file picker (in Pythonista > "External Files"), there's a "Select" button that enables both multiple selection, and opening folders. It's admittedly a bit hard to discover.

@omz the worst thing is that i knew it but i had it completely forgot 😢🤕

@DKatz, thank you for asking this question.

Opening the Working Copy repo as a folder makes it very seamless to work with in Pythonista.

@omz Thanks for this, didn’t realise this was possible. This is exactly what I was looking for!!
