Has anyone had success opening the Contacts app from Pythonista and having it open a specified contact? Specifically, I'm using the contacts module and for a particular contact I'd like to be able to open that in the Apple Contacts app.

The contacts module gives me a numeric ID for each contact so I'm hoping there's some way to leverage that into getting the Contacts app opened for that contact.

The digging I've done has shown some solutions for Mac OS but none seem to work on iOS from Pythonista. Has anyone gotten this to work on iOS using Pythonista?

Can you provide a code snippet for what you have so far?

Unfortunately, the Contacts app doesn't have a URL scheme, so it isn't possible to open it programmatically.

omz thanks for the reply, that's too bad but oh well :). Are there other ways (besides handle urls) to integrate with other apps ?
