I’m doing a fair bit of data-intensive work in Pythonista on my iPad Pro.

Just about the only thing I can’t work out a decent strategy for is pretty formatting in the console, and by that I just mean colours, table-like formatting, etc.

I understand that console.set_color() will only change font colours for whole lines (not, e.g., specific words on a line of output). Would it be possible to introduce more granular, inline, colour control in the future?

Also, there are plenty of easy ways to output tables in Python, e.g. Tabulate, but these aren’t available right now. Can anybody suggest any tried and tested ways of producing table like formatting?
