I am interested in the app for use with TaskPaper.
I’m wondering if Dropbox is the only option?
And if the sync process is encrypted?
Ideally I would like local sync.
The lack of encryption with Dropbox would make this app a no for me.
I have sensitive information and don’t trust Dropbox.

The new DropBox interface supports encryption in transit and at rest. Editorial was updated a few months (?) ago to support this fuctionality.

I’m afraid this is not entirely correct. Editorial was updated to support Dropbox API v2, but it doesn’t support encryption at rest as a result of that. It mostly just won’t stop working suddenly, when Dropbox shuts down the v1 API.
Sorry to speak incorrectly. I got this from DropBox website:
"Beyond traditional encryption
Dropbox protects files in transit between our apps and our servers, and at rest. "
So the "at rest" encryption comes from DropBox NOT Editorial.
