As stated in the title. I would like to work with several files visuable at the same time. Am I missing something obvious, or is it not possible in this version of pythonista?

I am a beginner so I'm not sure if this is what you want When in the code editor part of pythonista you can hit the top right icon (bottom of a square with a plus sign) and from there pick a new file or open a recent file. From there you will have a different file on its own tab that you can run and see the result.

IIUC @gustav means files side by side, like Safari split view where you can see two pages. This is not possible.
