I have a Scene application that crashes after about one minute of use. By checking available memory I have finally found the cause of the leak: load_pil_image. If I do all other actions (particularly a lot of PIL handling) and leave the load_pil_image out, the application just runs for a long time.
So it is clear that load_pil_image causes the trouble.
Is this a known bug? If so, is there a workaround.
If not, it would be nice if this could be fixed in a next release.
