Any plans to add support for accessing the calendar or contact databases, perhaps through a Python module? I have some ideas for workflows (mainly around taking meeting notes) that would work better if I could pull up a list if meetings from the calendar or a list of contacts.

Definitely something I'm thinking about. Might take a while though, the APIs are relatively complex, so it's not trivial to write a Python wrapper that exposes all of their functionality.
Please don't let the "perfect" be the enemy of the "good!"
Even a subset of the contact functionality would be useful.
Access to Names and notes (ie non 'tuples') alone would a welcome addition!
The next update of Editorial will include the contacts module that I've added to Pythonista 1.4. Calendars/reminders will take a bit longer, but that's also something I'm looking into.

Thanks - looking forward to the calendar module for access to event info. Will make my meeting notes workflows easier and less reliant on an external connection.
