After an unsuccessful attempt at sorting lines in a workflow, I decided to test the very basics, and I downloaded the "Sort lines" worfkflow by Ole. That didn't work either.
I enter some lines of text - with line breaks - and when I tap on the workflow, nothing happens. Is there something I may be doing wrong?
Please advise.

Could you link to the workflow you're referring to?
A common mistake (but this is just a guess) would be to forget a "replace selected text" action, so that the sorting only happens in memory, but no text actually gets replaced.
Look, I know nothing about wf in Editorial. But I had a look anyway. I made the workflow as in the image below. I don't think it's the correct way to do it as it looks like it's very destructive. But maybe gives you a hint to look at it while you are waiting for someone to get back to you.
