I just noticed that a Today widget that I have been using for a long time has stopped working. I'm not sure when that happened but I tried various examples that come with Pythonista and none of them work. Is this a bug in the latest release or is there some other reason why Today widgets are not working?

the widget examples seem to work fine for me. But I am not a user of widgets, so I might overlook something. Are you sure that you did not accidently change some of the Pythonista restriction settings in iOS?

That's interesting. I did not knowingly change the restrictions. Where are they set?
Closing and re-opening Pythonista did not help so I power cycled the iPad and nowToday widgets once again work properly. Go figure...
Well, for once you can set specifically some restrictions in the iOS Settings>Pythonista menue (down in the long list of all applications). You can also set global restrictions in Settings>General>Restricitons limiting the functionality and access of all applications.
