Starting a line with "#" in .txt file in displays as markdown

Hi, I just started using Ediitorial on my ipad.
I noticed that when editing a .txt file, if I start a line with a "#" a horizontal line is created.
Is there a way to disable this? (couldn´t find anything in the settings).

You can switch the syntax mode to "plain text" in the "Aa" (quick settings) menu.
