For those interested in such things, there is a new version of my fretboard toolkit, chordcalc, up on github. The most notable change is that I have restructured the program in the MVC (model-view-controller) paradigm in preparation for re-writing it in swift for more general release. I make use of pypubsub, the publisher/subscriber module. Mush less spaghetti code. You can get pypubsub via pip.
