I've run into an unusual program behavior I've not seen before. I attempted to rename a document I'd just created and received an error message:
An Error occurred while renaming Untitled.md: Internal Server Error (500).
Any idea what might be happening?
I've heard of this a couple of times, but I've not yet been able to reproduce it. It could be that it's a temporary Dropbox server error (seems like that), it's also possible that I'm using their API incorrectly in some way (though that would typically result in a different error message). I'll keep an eye on it.
I am having the same issues, and it doesn't exactly seem to be temporary (it has lasted for the past few days, and my other apps that use dropbox work well (1Writer, WordEver, PlainText). I really love the design and concept of this app, but this issue hinders me from using this as my primary app choice.
Perhaps there might've been a recent change in Dropbox's API, or some sort of change in response formats that's causing the app to misinterpret something as 500?

I have found that if I quit Editorial (not merely shift focus to another program) and then restart it, the problem "goes away." This doesn't tell us if the problem with in Editorial, in Dropbox or in the hand-off between them.
