Is it possible to get current paragraph's text without having to select it? Is it possible to get the current caret position?

You can use the Get Selected Text action with the Entire Line(s) option to get the current paragraph. To get the caret position (as a 0-based index), you can use the Sel. Range: Start variable (in the Editor... section).
