I was working on a long article in a Dropbox synced folder in Editorial while on a plane today. When I connected to the network in my hotel then opened Editorial, the text disappeared and went to a blank screen with no evidence of the file.

I've checked Dropbox deleted files online, looked in the local files repository in Editorial with no joy.

Is my file gone forever? It was a 1,000 word article which I will not enjoy writing again.

Finally, is there a different workflow I should be using to make this work in the future?

Please check the "Show deleted files" option from the "Advanced" settings in Editorial. This is different from the deleted files you see on the Dropbox website because it contains files that were potentially never uploaded.
