Huh, that looks weird. Which iOS version are you on? Is "Extended keyboard with numbers" (in the settings) on or off?

I have iPad mini first gen..
extended keyboard turned on, without turning it on it is "just keyboard" like in safari..
On my sister's iPad mini there is same problem, but on another iPad 2 it is okay
Ah, I think I know what might be the problem here. Could you try tapping and holding the "globe" key, and turn on shortcuts?

So now I don't see any bugs, before there I couldn't use any own photos, because they could be imported only in photo folder, but this got fixed by reinstalling :)
