Thanks to donnieh and Webmaster40 for remembering me that there is a scale factor.

I did some tests and it looks like that only large images can't be displayed. Although it's possible to to save the image including the text, it's hard to position the text ;). I also tried using a global image variable to save memory but it doesn't change the black image effect. Is there a size limitation of SceneViews in a ScrollView? Any hints are appreciated.
