I must have inadvertently deleted the appex script. Is there a way to get it back without re-installing Pythonista? Is it online somewhere to be copied back?

It's ok. I have been stupid and misunderstood you. The Appex module is readonly, so I am guessing you didn't delete that. I am not sure now what you deleted. But do you have a easy to back your work? If you can back up, you could delete the app and then reinstall. It's possible you don't need to back up. I have no idea. I would not try it without backing up first.

My mistake. Thanks for your help. Extensions are working. Somehow I thought that appex.py was in the Extensions folder with the provided extensions.

No problems. I also thought the wrong way.
