Bind data source to UI controls

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a best practice to get data pulled from an external data source (RedShift in my case, via pg8000) and be able to bind the results to the various controls (segmented controls, text fields, etc) in a UI created through the editor? I looked at Bottle but couldn't figure out how to bind to the segmented controls and sliders in the UI editor or through html.

I could figure it a solution programmatically but wanted to check in with the experts for any existing solutions. Thank you.

Just to clarify: this is to scroll through a result set from a SQL select statement.
