Hmm... I have one, and technically this would probably be feasible. However considering how bad the default software occasionally is when it comes to keeping the thing in one place, I doubt I'd be able to write anything useful with my programming skills.

Unfortunately, I see that libardrone imports multiprocessing which I do not believe is available for Pythonista.
Wondering if there have been any developments. I have a parrot Rolling Spider (controlled via Bluetooth LE). Is there any reason one could not create something in Pythonista using the SDK?

Wow! I must get the Rolling Spider! Right now Bluetooth LE work is on hold for Pythonista until there is a new beta or BLE is rolled into the main line releases. I'm not concerned if libardrone uses multitasking as long as it documents the protocol.
