Maybe this is fixed in the beta... But I've noticed autocorrect adding periods where they don't belong inside the pythonista editor... This didn't happen with ios7....

You can turn off this keyboard shortcut in iOS8 via
Settings -> General -> Keyboards -> "." Shortcut

Thanks. I thought that in IOS7, in the pythonista editor no autocorrect shortucts were enabled at all. Now I see this shortcut, as well as custom shortcuts are still implemented.
