Anyone install ios 8 on ipad 2? I'm waiting a few days, but curious if there are any quirks, etc with pythonista in ios8?

Haven't used it much yet, but as far as I can tell there are no major breaking problems. I've read in another thread that some specific features don't work the same way anymore, not sure what exactly that was about though.

@JonB Some differences so far (iPad mini)...

iOS 8 Safari seems to be a newer version:

• Apple has confirmed a general file upload bug with iOS 8 Safari
• it plays well with the iOS 8 camera app (but that crashes immediately with the browser version in Pythonista)
• It doesn't play well with the forum post edit window, trying to select text beyond the editor window size doesn't scroll, so it can be better to use the forum in a WebView for now

Keyboard size:

• of course this is variable now, so it's necessary to calculate dynamically from the frame size

I've got iOS 8 on my iPad 2, there don't seem to be any major bugs, but certain programs do seem to run more slowly on iOS 8. There have also been multiple crashing issues that have come up, though mostly for older apps that haven't been optimized even for iOS 7 yet. It's an overall improvement, I'm sure Apple will fix the occasional bugs.

I'm seeing an issue with HTTPServer under iOS 8 on my iPhone 5S. I have a script using an HTTPServer subclass that serves a page in Safari. Until I upgraded to 8, it worked fine all the time. Under 8, however, it only works when I am on a wifi connection, not using cellular data. I've toggled the Use Cellular Data setting for Pythonista off and then back on and still nothing. The served page just never loads.

Apple removed the Camera Roll in iOS 8. So what does photos.get_image do? Does it still work? Similarly for the other functions that access the Camera Roll?
