Just a short information on the state of the upcoming Newsstand update: After a second rejection, it’s now in review again.
Here is the text of the rejection email and the attached screenshot (which looks exactly the same as in the current version in the App Store).

Dear Mr. Zorn,
Thank you for submitting Newsstand 2.2 to the App Store. We’ve reviewed Newsstand 2.2 and determined that we cannot post this version of your iPhone application to the App Store because of an Apple trademark image. We want to remind you of the importance of following Apple’s posted Guidelines for Using Apple’s Trademarks and Copyrights: .
Screenshots of this issue have been attached for your reference.
If you believe that you can make the necessary changes so that Newsstand 2.2 does not infringe on Apple trademarks, we encourage you to do so and resubmit it for review.

Apple Logo and Apple-owned Graphic Symbols:
You may not use the Apple Logo or any other Apple-owned graphic symbol, logo, or icon on or in connection with web sites, products, packaging, manuals, promotional/advertising materials, or for any other purpose except pursuant to an express written trademark license from Apple, such as a reseller agreement.

I have changed the URL and feed directory icons in the version that is now in review again. Thanks for your patience! I’ll keep you posted.
